Hey if anyones out there knows how to get a Automic Shift knob for a Manual Car, please let me know. The Automic Shift knob, is where all you have to do is move the stick up when you want to go shift up, and move it down when you want to down shift. Looking for one that fits a Rx8 or a Lancer Evo 8

 

Wait...you want a shift knob to turn your 5/6 speed car into a tiptronic type of transmission?

It'll take a little more than a shift knob,bud.

 

Yeah i want the triptronic speed for it. I just need to know where to get one. I know that it will take more than just the knob. If i know where to go get one, then i can look around. Most likely the people that sell it will sell the other stuff that goes along with it.

Well..If I remember correctly, both the Lancer Evolution and RX-8 had the option of a paddle shift/ tiptronic transmission. In either case you would need the entire transmission, and a new ECU. It's going to be a pretty expensive venture.

 

i think he is talking about a sequential transmission, which is rather expensive!

 

Does anyone own Grip. They are videos. On the 4th Grip Video it shows the shift knob that i want. Look for it on the white car. They are a team of Nsx's. the white car has it. It will show you.

 

im telling you, its prob. a sequential tranny that you are talking about...but you know, what the hell do i know?

 

i have no clue, i doubt that you will find it unless you post on the honda forums where ricers hangout at who watch those videos. good luck
