This must have formed with a day or so, found it last night during my 5 lug swap. That was up front as well, and I do a lot of interstate travel. First time I ever had a belt break on a tire.

Ahh, thats always safe, just wait until the belt snaps and takes out your wheelwell with it.

Its actually pretty scary how many I used to see in a day at the shop. Good thing you found out about it now before it actually causes damage.
