Okay, so I got a ticket a couple of weeks ago, and I am faced with a problem. I can't take the class and I have two lawyers names. You know, the ones where supposedly you pay them X amount of dollars and they take care of it. Here is the problem, I am going to Ft. Myers on the 17th of this month, and my question is do you have to be still in town for them to fight it?...I am going for college and won't be back till at least december. If I take the ticket it will be 7 points total on my lisence...Just wondering if any of you have done the lawyer thing and if it worth it.

 

You dont have to be there to fight it the lawyer just goes.......and it wont be for a few months so Im sure your safe......I got a ticket in may and they said it wont go to court till nov.

 

they will call you and let you know the outcome.......

i got a ticket last september for racing on highway... i got a lawyer and he went a bunch of times for me but the case wasnt resolved until the end of march. i think he went 4 times without me and i had to go with my lawyer like 3 times so it just goes to show how long it can take. but you deff did alot of good for yourself by getting a lawyer. best of luck to you.... What the fuck is your deal? Why dont you take your pinto, vette or whatever the fuck you drive and have someone ram it up your asshole. So someone got a ticket and they were wondering what was going to happen, if you dont have something nice to say, then shut the fuck up.
