Nah, it cant...my friend's DSM is using the above MBC (which I originally bought) without spikes or creep. Besides, look at his feedback; 100% except for one dumbass

you really cant go wrong with the hallman MBC, it does not spike, and its easy to install...........I spent the money on a greddy profec b spec II and it spikes more than the hallman.

If you have boost creep with a greddy profecB then you have a problem. The only time i have ever had boost spike is when i had a crappy delta gate. AKA:The creep gate.
