I got a friend of mine who is dead set on getting a LS1 for his first car.. wont settle for a LT1/5.0 or any other car a step below, thinks hes gona make payments and insure it and everything is gone be fine.. while he mods/races his LS1 with his limited driving experience.


its gotten to the point where hes been offered a (clean) 6spd Camaro LT1 1995 only 89k miles but is declining it because its a LT1 and its not as fast as his LS1 buddys. As of now this kid doesnt even know how to drive a manual.. (6spd or bust )and has never driven anything with 8cylinders.


so I gave up trying to talk sense into him and to buy a lesser car and make that car fast while his car experience/driving experience grows, so I'm gona leave it to TR with every1 elses opinions.

I started off with a auto5.0 converted it to manual.. learned alot about cars in general.. drove it.. got licensed learned how to really drive on it..


the hit and run was under 2mph.. in a 5ft space.. I dont feel like defending myself over this... your 15yrs old and need to get a reality check..


I sold my 5.0 because I broke it and had a chance to make a good amount of cash on it and learned alot from it.. then BOUGHT & moved on to a different car a year later.
