Tell him to get the LS1. We lower level Mustangs need more cannon fodder.

 

I would deffinatly NOT get an ls1 for your fist car. Lets put aside the fact that you will not be able to afford it going to school full time. My first car was a 99 mustang gt, auto. I didnt pay for it all but i did put down a 6,000 down payment. My job at the time was telemarketing making 8-9 bucks an hour (pretty damn good for a 16 year old) and i wasnt even close to being able to afford it. Well needless to say, here are pics of my first mustang. If it was up to me, i would have spent 2000 and got a 5 spd beeter for my first car. and saved my other 4000 for a year or so later. I know how the story goes, your not going to be an idiot right? and you can drive better then that right?.... yeah I Said the same shit.

one picture is right after i spun out pulling into traffic (long story short) lost it and this is where I Came to a stop... Other pic is when I got it home a while later. needless to say, the car was totaled.
