No flaming no stupidity I just need a quick answer for TODAY, most of you know my clutch blew out or whatever (I wasnt racing when it blew, belive it or not just driving normal) now if the dealership asks me why is the clutch burned, what should I tell them?? I do have a history of taking it in about 2-3 times for clutch problems and their exact words were "Hey man we hear the sounds, but until it breaks, unfortunately as bad as that sounds, we cant fix it" so, when they why is the clutch burned, what should I say?

 

Usually when I see a burnt disc, that tells me one of 2 things.

1. The person does not know how to properly use a clutch and has fried the disc.
or
2. The clutch no longer can hold the power its given and slips.

Since youve taken it to them before, they dont have a record of that? Or you never got one to cover your ass incase something like this happens? If you have proof of it, and not just someones words, tell them to give you the answer, the clutch is the problem and has been for some time.

 

i have inside the cars the receits of the other times i went specifically on the paper saying "clutch makes weird noise" so im guessing i could just tell them that, and how it burned i dont know...

 

If you have had a previous problem that has been documented then it should'nt be a problem at all. They WILL run a service history on it when you arrive to see what other work may have been done at another dealer in the past. just be honest with them.

well i know it wasnt my dumbass for racing it cuz it blew while i was driving normal, and i've been driving stick shift since i was like 13, im 19 so i can drive i... even my enemy SKITTLE had told me i can drive, i told the dealership something was wrong they just didnt wanna fix it for whatever reason, and now im stuck in this situation...

 

u might have been driving it fine when it broke..but u still race it..and it still does damage to the clutch..esp if u ride the clutch

when i said you can drive,I meant you can power shift good But show them all your paper work,and tell them what you know from before.Good luck,let us know how it goes.
