im watching car and driver. they just showed a "blue devil" corvette.

omg that car is so fuckin sweet, if they manage to keep it around 100 grand it will be THE baddest car for the money and itll still outperform some of those 300k+ cars

 

its nice but 100k is unrealistic when you can buy a base 2006 z06 for 68k and put a little money into bolt ons and a nice cam and be past the 600hp mark easily for about 25k less. the only diffence would be the 200lbs less which really isnt that big of a deal to me.

ok , lets say you some how blew up your engine with just bolt ons (let me remind you this LS7 engine is not weakly built on the edge) and they voided your factory warranty. A complete LS7 crate engine is around 14k I believe. so after the new engine and the bolt ons your still underr 100k for 100hp more and 200lbs less. its just not practical to me

 

ur forgetting all the suspension stuff too, because im sure there not gonna leave the suspension the same as a stock z06

 

im sure the stock z06 suspension is more than adequate. its designed from the c6r race car.

 

yea i know that but i figured for 100k theres prolly a lil somethin extra in there, i could be wrong tho
