Beware of the Crosstown
Keep an eye open if you take the Crosstown. They are painting all the concrete support beams and are occasionally letting a lot of paint spray go off into the air.
A buddy of mine (who just got back from a week long trip from Aruba) was welcomed back to Tampa last week with a new unexpected paint job on a brand new Expedition. White paint dots covered the entire front of the truck and WILL NOT COME OFF. He tried pressure washing which eventually took the paint off the windshield. Unfortunately, it peeled some of the vehicle paint off the bumper so he stopped. Now he is in the process of making phone calls to the every department in the county because of course if you call one, they blame it on the other.
Keep an eye open when driving on this road!
