hey guys, i need a quick wax job

what do you u guys recommend? take it to a carwash and tell em to do the wax for 30 bucks

or any other quick waxing methods?


i have a 2001 toyota land cruiser (so i know doin it by hand probably will take all day)

how bout that mr. clean quick wash crap? does it work?

I would keep that 30 bucks in my pocket and wax it myself. If you dont already have a buffer and wax go ahead and buy them and do it yourself. Im not sure if it comes out as good as the mr clean one and the wax as you dry stuff, but I am sure you will feel a hundred times better about it after you get all tired from doing it yourself.. but if time is the biggest factor here I would just take it to a carwash or detailing place and pay the extra money, they usually do a pretty good job depending on where you go

 

If you ever need a pesky antenna removed or some extra swirl marks, go ahead and take it to a carwash chain. If not, just claybar it and spend the time detailing it yourself. It's not that bad, I spent 4 hours doing my Talon yesterday and it was all oxidized. No big deal.
