You will need some way to enclose the rear end before a company will agree to ship it. They will also need a way to pick it up without hurting it. The easiest way to do that is to strap the rear end onto a wooden pallet then wrap it in cardboard or plastic.

185lbs depending on what exactly the internals are like, if it has a spool or not. i know moser does not ship it all out at once do to its weight, they usually send out the rear housing and tubes, then another shipment for the axles and diff. i know i can pick up a bare LT1 bottom end just barely and they are 150lbs, and i had to have help to pick up a 9"
