Project XMODnster!
Alright, so I'm bored, and I have extra cash on hand, so Ive decided that since my XMODS Skyline has a Front Broken A-Arm, and since it's slow and annoying, I'm going to make this a bad mamma jama. Here is what we have in store for the Xmods Skyline...
- Radio Shack Suspension Upgrade
- Radio Shack Wheel Upgrade (Hard Tread on Aluminum Wheels)
- Radio Shack AWD Upgrade
- Lithium Ion Pro Kit
- Stacked FET Electronics Package with Tight Turns
- FatBoy HC Motor
- Aluminum Heatsink and Motor Mount
- 10 Tooth Pinion and Gear Set
- Wide Track Bearings Upgrade
- Wheel Shims
- Carbon Fiber Drive Shaft
- Re-doing almost all of the Chassis With Aluminum Parts
Estimated Outcome.... 36 MPH Full Scale Speed, 980 MPH 1:24 Scale Speed. It's going to be BAD. Im buying all of the parts Friday, Looking at about $250 total. Will have Pics.

Yeah, nice chunk of change, but it will be fun. Maybe I'll make a deal with the local radioshack to do a mall show with it when its done. Kids see an Xmod doing 36 mph, Radio Shack gets lots of business

How much? I Need some Stock Replacement Parts in case of Emergency if it's a Skyline. In case I blow the $140 Electronics Setup, or the $40 motor, LOL.

36 isnt bad for something from radio shack, but i like to stick with more professional rc cars, especially nitro ones.

We actually just realized we can upgrade a couple of other things and be looking at a 45 MPH flat top speed. This is going to be fun I got motors by the way if anyone wants to buy one.. they range from 30k-60k+ RPM's.

SupraKid, NICE. What all do you have done to it? Where did you buy your parts? I'm looking to buy a lot of stuff from AtomicMods, they have a good rep.
