I found out from mitsu that you guys tisk tisk are wrongo in 1993 Diamond Star Motors stoped production on all dsm engines so it is impossible for there to be dsms in those years cause they arent made by dsm after 94. i did some research and came across this site it explains it all.

lol you still crack me up ...... from what i understand very few 95's had a 6 bolt motor in them then they had the 7 bolt motors .... but if your going to buy a gst buy a 2g body with a 1 g heart my .02

 

Production was stopped mid to late 93, after a large amount of 95 models were produced and made with the dsm tag on the fire wall being a true dsm. The rest of the 2g turbo models to come were adopted into the dsm family...not non-turbo wastes of money and any other mitsubishi made BY mitsubishi, not diamond star motors. This topic is gone over so many times, you could look in mitsutech and see a whole page on info about dsm's and mitsu's because of posts like this.

 

even though i got a 2g ive had a 91dsm the knowledge i aquired from it and put in my 2nd gen makes it a dsm and parts from the 1g in my 2g help, but once this motor goes im lookin for a evo 3 engine to go in it, i love my (dsm) and awd so no matter what is said and what is done in the future to it, it will always be a dsm to me... also my uncle is parting out his 1st gen talon awd if anyone is interested let me knw and ill list parts all i got to say bout his cars is .. if i had injectors and a front mount it would easy pull 11's all day

 

An evo3 engine is just 560 yellow top injectors and a evo3 turbo and the manifold and o2 housing, all else is the same. but good luck with what your doing.
