So i just bought a 2003 Nissan frontier 4cyl. Since i bought it it has made a slight rattling noise comming from the tranny. Now in my previous car when a thow out bearing went out it made a similar noise but the truck isnt as noisy and not nearly as deathly sounding. I have never owned/driven a 5 speed truck before and havent owned a cylinder motor in 3 yrs. Is it me just hearing typical noises in a truck tranny or should i take it back to nissan and have them look at it, and its still under warrenty

 

if you're really worried about go ahead and take it in and let the techs listen to it, if anything its a second opinion

 

if its still under warranty, id just have the dealer look at it then.
