my car is always dirty on the outside, 2-4 times a year i wash it. thats what rain was invented for. but the interior i get all bitchy about. i like a good clean interior.

I agree. I hate driving cars that are dirty on the inside. I couldn't believe how many cars were just disgustingly dirty on the inside when I worked valet- even new cars with 10000 miles on them. That's just counting dirty cars. Car interiors destroyed by nicotine were even worse, although most of the time if the car was smoked in it was also a mess.

I keep my car completely empty when I'm not in the middle of working on it. I like being able to corner at the limit of my tires without shit flying around, which is something I routinely test on every drive.
