I'd rock one as a daily driver. Hell that's why I picked up the hatch with 35-40MPG.

You also get something like $2,000-4,000 back from the IRS when you purchase one on your taxes for some environment/bullshit/hippie clause.

I was thinking something like that. Damn I want to get one now haha. What are the competitions toyota prius? That is about it. Ford has the escape but doesn't get that good of mpg.

$2000 if you buy it in 2005, but only $500 if you buy it in 2006. Government blows sometimes.

I'd personally get a little diesel thing, like a Golf TDi or something. Better mileage, comparable torque, turbo, and possibilty of biodiesel.

yea but those ugly looks are contributingto the low drag coefficient. The wheel covers in the back, narrow tires, shorten wheel width from the front to the rear. Man this car is pretty cool.
