sorry man I just got your AIM on this (18:37) ... I've been so buzy at the office today it wasn't until a few moments ago I could actually get back to AIM You just had it with us on Saturday.If your lease states that the purpose of the gate is to do what you said and they have no disclaimer clauses in it, I say go for the law suit.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Best thing is report it to your insurance company (if you have comp covg). Seriously doubt you'll get a dime from your apt complex.
