It does, and I agree totally. When I pulled up in my mustang, I was yelled at and told to get that five point slow out of there before I had even undone my 5 point harness and crawled out through my 8 point cage It seems to me that there are import enthusiasts, then there seems to be a select group of unknowledgeable import owners that mainly drive Hondas and have a superiority complex that can't be touched. Not trying to start anything, but that has been my experience, usually, the loudest mouth also has the slowest car and the biggest exhaust which only makes it worse. There's nothing quite as fun as having a car that you know is considerably faster than someone's, not saying a word about it, and then having them tell you why their car is superior, it get's better gas mileage (so fucking what), it's engineered better (once again, so fucking what, and not only that, but it's not always the case), my car makes more HP per liter (whoopdefuckingdoo, I guess it's a good thing I have three times as many liters), my car has VTEC (don't go there ), lately, the one that has been thrown at me quite a few times is "my car handles better" First, I never intended for this car to be a handling machine, second, this car handles much better than anyone knows (just ask my wife, I've had her white knuckling it on entrance ramps/turns all around town yelling at me to slow down ) third, we all know a front engine, FWD platform is not the best balanced platform, I don't care what anyone says, to try and claim superiority in handling, especially to someone that doesn't care in the first place, is absurd..........

I was just talking with Janien about this the other day, before we ever joined TR, we used to argue back and forth about the G35 coupe and the 350Z, I liked the coupe, Janien liked the 350. I actually wanted one and was considering getting one. One day on here I suggested getting a new mustang GT to (I believe) ricerocket over a G35 coupe just because I liked the look and it was a new car that there weren't too many of running around. I couldn't possibly care less about where the car was built, but in marches the import brigade, led by Ron, telling me how much better the G35 coupe is, I don't know what I'm talking about because I drive a domestic, and Ron even went so far as to tell me that I am part of a dying breed Now, I wouldn't consider a G35 coupe because I don't want to be associated with the pompous assholes that think they are somehow superior because they drive an import, it seems the more people tell me how much better their import is, the happier I am with a domestic, hmmmmmmmmmm..............
