I am not sure if they have them down here, but when I was living in the Northeast, every once and a while certain companies would have days when they take people out and show them the cool stuff in their vehicles and show off the performance.

Other than a wrangler(and that's debatable) there are supposed to be the most capable off-road vehicles in stock form.

The 98-99's are still good performers, but those things depreciate quick, i almost bought a 96 for like 12,000 something. Go to the dealership, yo get to have a little fun while testdriving, but i never liked the interior space in the discoveries..the range rover is where its at now boy.

rovers are notorious for breaking down....go to http://www.landroverworld.org/forums/index.php

and ask away on there. There you will see many people asking how to solve problems they are having....when I was looking into getting one it seemed there were a lot of electrical problems, which is no fun. A land rover Defender however, is a BADASS offroad car. That and the Toyota LandCruiser FJ40....sweeettt.
