Default So I went to the track for the 1st time...

Last nite i went to the 1/8 mile track for the 1st time in my life I did it legally.
I actualy staged right and got a nice reaction time. See kids, video games pay off.
I ran a 17.3@36mph WoooHooo

Right at the end of 1st gear I put my foot on the clutch and the f***ing pedal just drops to the floor

Ride home was fun. Now its time to figure out what I broke this time!

Things always seem to break at the track, even though I beat on my car just as much on the street with awd launches from stoplights and 3rd gear pulls. The last few times I've gone nothing has broken, fortunately. I did lose an AC belt on the way back from the track last time, but that was at a steady cruise halfway home, it was just something waiting to break.

My first time at the track I broke a motor mount on my first run. The motor lifted and sent the fan through the shroud, top hose and cut one of my brand new MSD plug wires. Of course I lifted and coasted through the lights, beating the poor sunfire in the other lane. I ran a 10.2 at 35 mph. LMAO.
Drag radials + sticky track + ancient motor mounts = disaster.

yeah I beat on my car 100x worse on the street but if I'm in a staging lane something like notices and tells my car to break something
