How much to ask ???
A friend of mine wants to sell his car but doesn't know what he can get for it he has a burgandy 95 civic lx 4 door 5 spd with 125k on the car with about 50k on the b18c swap,stock spoiler,moonroof, black leather interior,lip kit all around ,17'' rims new yokohama tires ,short shifter,h&r coilovers,triple pillar pod with gauges,CAI,headers,cat-back, DC strut bar, ITR 5 lug conv, Elderbrock intake manifold and throttle body ,some MSD parts, engine management and A shit load of other things.He says it makes 300hp which I think is about right and the car runs smooth the only thing wrong with the car is the drivers side fender is a little dented up the seats are kinda worn and some small interior things .So how much should he try to sell the car for and is anyone interested ?
A B18C isn't making anywhere NEAR 300 hp unless that thing is built to HELL or turbo.
With an i/h/e, he's probably making close to 190 hp at the flywheel, if it's a B18C1.

it has much more than basic bolt ons I know I/H/E wouldn't make that much hp thats rice math. He bougt the car from a good friend of his that is rich so he had the money to build the motor then he had to go to jail so he sold the car,so the internals have been built but I don't know what was done to it. I personaly own an STI and have 300hp and his little honda holds its own so it is puching aroud 300hp

I know a "rich" person that drove a Geo Storm. Money sure as hell doesn't mean they actually DID anything to the car.
You are leaving out anything performance-related that would help justify your statement of "300 hp" which appearantly, is the only real selling point.
It's a swapped engine, so who did the work, when, how long ago, and what did they do?
I wouldn't trust a swapped engine unless it was by a reputable person/shop. Unless the price was low enough to justify paying for something unknown. Otherwise, you're paying for a car that you will have to work out any kinks.
WHY do people swap engines and then sell the car? Isn't it a bit of a hassle to do all that, just to sell it for less than the car is worth?
