You're 2nd and 3rd in today's practice at Road Atlanta. The old-lady-blue-hair Caddy was 1st and Tommy Archer in the Viper was 4th.

All were within .352 of each other.

Qualifying is Saturday 11:25 am.

 

The caddy is probably an abberation but the rest of the placement sounds about right.

Caddy is doing great. They've got a 2nd and a 4th so far this year. They came in 2nd to Audi in the manufacturers' points last year. Audi doesn't seem to be backing so much this year so the manufacturers' points are shaping up between Caddy and Porsche this year. Expect Caddy to win since they are the only manufacturer sponsor. The Vette guys aren't too happy about that.

 

Killing myself because I have to go to Jacksonville and miss the race! Caddy is going to win without a sweat. How's the new Aston Martin looking?


Edit: There is a good part about missing....not having to hear those N/A Flat 6 Porchses go by and destroy my ears. I love porsches, but any relatively small displacement N/A motor sounds like crap without a quiet exhaust.

 

yeah no crap! I hate it when the series is spoken of as "very competitive due to high factory invovlement..." the vettes don't get ANY gm support.

That's FIA GT, not running at Road Atlanta this weekend. We're talking World Challange GT.

But to answer your question, Aston Martin came in 1st in class at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Corvettes came in 2nd and 3rd. I'd say AM is looking good.
