My RS eclipse can have turbo look!
First off, the car is front-wheel drive....which means that insane amounts of horsepower aren't very practical due to the nature of the car. Secondly, your car, for a smaller car, is pretty heavy...about 3300lbs,so you've got a lot going against you. If you really want to enjoy the car you have, beef up the suspension, do a few bolt ons, and add a good sound system and use your car as a daily driver/weekend autocrosser and save up for a better platform.
being all excited about your first car is all fine and well, but being stupid and throwing a bunch of money at something before you even know is anything about it is a whole other deal.

Just because he wants to turbo his RS doesn't make him stupid, there are many people who do it. While it may not be practical, and there are better ways to spend the money if he's looking for horsepower, but it's his decision. Personally, I wouldn't go in the high horsepower direction for his car...but then again I plan to turbo my Cavalier. Granted I'm not looking for incredible horsepower and I can get the entire thing done for about $1k compared to his $3k but to each his own.

Who knows? I'm betting that he may in fact get the kit and have problems putting in on, eventually getting it to work but still just not running the same. You dont have to be an ass about it.

hopefully, and most likely, he's not going to buy the kit, and he will realize that modding his car would be a waste of money, luckily i saw that before i did anything to my 4,600lb pile of steel. though a blower on that thing would be badass, since it already sounds like a freaking monster...but thats beside the point

I will let this "thread" be on it's way. You two can give eachother back rubs. If he had any reading comprehension, he would have never made this thread.
