Default Review: 2003 Land Rover Range Rover HSE

My brother decided to buy (and sell eventually) a Ranger Rover at the auction recently. I had ridden in it and it felt pretty smooth. Today I was able to drive it a good distance. I had to climb my short ass in. Once I was in I thought I wouldn't be able to adjust the seat for my short legs enough, but alas I was able to get perfectly comfortable! This thing has every option imaginable. Navigation, heated seats, leather, etc. I know these vehicles are expensive, but once I got on the road I realized why.

The SUV handles like a car. It has insane grip and a very calming ride. It handles like a BMW. It's actually decently quick. It has a lot of torque and will actually push you back in your seat a bit if you get on it and get the RPM up. I never liked SUV's, but I must say this is different from any other SUV I've ever driven. It is definitely worth the money. If I had the money I'd take it off of my brother's hands immediately.

Has anyone else every driven one of these? I fell in love with it.

My uncle works for Land Rover in GA. We got to take to 04 range rovers on a trip thru the mountains in north carolina last january, lots of snow and lots of fun. They had every option possible, they are very nice, i wasnt uncomfortable at all the whole trip.

Land Rovers look nice, It's too bad they are the most poorly built peices of shit to grace 4 wheels.

Are you kidding me??? How are they poorly built? This thing had almost 50k miles on it and it was GREAT. Range Rovers don't only look nice, but they drive amazingly. You should drive one if you haven't to get the full experience.

I guess BMW's suck too then since they make Rovers now.

I'm sure it drives quite nice. However, owners constantly cite Land Rovers as being unreliable, and http://www.reliabilityindex.co.uk/tr...31382522333596 backs up my statement.

I could care less if BMW makes them now. I would never, NEVER own just about any European car (maybe VW) that wasn't on warranty. Especially Land Rovers.
