Question Drag radials

For all of you who use bfg drag radials at the track, what psi do you lower them to? I lowered mine to 25 and can only muster a 2.0 60ft and i know i can do better than that.

Lower your tire pressures more, you can go as low as 15psi. Keep lowering them until you find optimum traction. 2.0 is just average for a fwd on drag radials. You should be able to pull a 1.9
Guess thats cause when I use sarcasm no one takes it as that since I'm not a typical TR brown noser.

Since most of the people who have already posted on here are rwd only cars(I would assume since 50h said rwhp and john doesn't own any fwd cars) I would just suggest doing the test measure to figure out what works for you best. Start where you are at now with 25 but never go under 15psi. That way you can find the sweet spot for your car that has your suspension and your drivetrain.

I went down to 12psi (cold). I talked to alot of the Factory Stock (NMRA) guys who were getting sub 1.6's (rwd) and they told me 12lbs. I didn't like the bfg's that much but my best 60ft was 1.73. -Mark
