It looks like what should have followed the second gen. The 1/4's actually resemble one.

why cant they stick with what works the past 3 years theyved changed the models like 5 times. And TURBO TURBO TURBO, Everyone is getting away from it unless you wanna spend 30+. Look at GM they have a whole Line of Supercharged Cars. Every manufacturer has a high end turbo car but all the new stuff is NA ! WHY ? I want AWD and TURBO ! Damn mitsushitty. it reminds me of a 350

3rd gen = mitsubishi grand am (and was a blasphemic successor to the 1st and 2nd gens which actually had some balls and didnt look half bad)

4th gen = mitsubishi G6???? looks like the 3 diamonds are following the pontiac trend yet again with another spectacular and original body style.

ruh roh, 260hp, better turn the boost up, these turds look like they might have a fighting chance...(prediction: they weigh in at least 3200lbs or more).

my vote: it's a POS, but it will sell good only because it's priced just low enough for every high school slut's parents to go out and buy it so they can start their collection of parking lot dings (which will be hidden well from mitsubishi's wonderful scheme of making the paint fade to cover it) and see how long they can go without oil changes.

The V6 3rd gen performed about the same as the 2g turbos and the 1g turbos before that. The new V6 4th gen might be faster. To 95 percent of the buying market it doesn't make a difference to them whether their ~200 hp is from a turbo four or an NA six, except that the six has fewer expensive parts to replace and has more low-end grunt. The six is probably better in the eyes of the mass market- the 3rd gen was far more successful than the 1st or 2nd gen cars.

Then there's the stuff that's just a result of shitty build quality, like the wiring issues, the isc failures, a lot of the electrical stuff because the electrical systems are crap. But a lot of it is stupid complaints about normal wear and tear on old cars. One guy complained that his tires separated on a 92? If those were original tires, then no shit. If not, that's the tire manufacturer's problem.

The color was changed, hence why i said new for 2005, if you notice when you look at it, the new color is closer to a civic si blue. Not like the evo8 color, which is blew by you.
