make the crx alittle safer for the track. .roll cage, harness. seats, wheel and tire set up. MT 22x8x13's. Maybe a coat of the same color paint of the car make it look a little bit nicer. Replace the tie rod and and inner tie rod. A couple of mounts.

does it have to be my current car? if not i'd probably pick up a cheap shell and go from there.

on my elantra, eh... it's a pretty hopeless cause to begin with, and not much can be done without voiding the warranty. bolt-ons would probably be the way to go. or, even more likely, i'd go with good suspension setup.

I'd buy a daily driver. Actually, I have 1500 to buy one right now, just no place to park it until I get rid of the Talon shell.

On my dsm, hmm. Tranny rebuild, clutch pedal assembly repair, replace dying turbo with evo 16g, stock rebuild for engine and toss in fpcam1 cams, supra sidemount, 650cc injectors, methanol injection. That all should more than overrun 2500 dollars.

Some brand of big rear sway bar.
Falekn Azenis/ Kuhmo MX.

Yeah..that's about it. Not near 2,500 though.

i'm not going to mod my car really but if given 2500... I guess......
16" Rota Slipstreams and some nice tires.
5-speed swap.
Turbo kit.
Springs/Struts.

dual exhaust, intake, chip, then lowering springs/for handeling. if i had extra it would go into a better sound system.
