It should be in a haynes manual... All depends onthe car.

I would think it would be pretty simple on a corolla, though I have done them before so I am biased... I watched one get done once, then I did one on my own with no help and no manual if that tells you.

I did it on my old 95 tercel, which should be similar to your car. As long as you can get all of the big suspension bolts undone, you're half way there. The other half is getting the wheel nut off (and having the right socket), and prying the joint out of the trans (because its in there with an internal clip).

Took me a day, and I wasn't exactly an awesome mechanic at the time. No Haynes manual either.

and duct tape, lol. nah, just not mechanically inclined and helms manual was none-too-helpful. the axle seal was the biggest pain of it.

*one thing I'd caution you on is torque specs. certain bolts may stretch so be careful not to over torque them.
