i am wondering if you can join different metals together... im thinking Aluminum to steel??? is it possible... thanks for any reply

It is possible, but there are a few other variables to take into consideration. One being the thickness of the two materials needing joined.

Fastners like bolts or rivits can do it. There is no effective way to weld the two together.

i believe you can do it with rotational forge welding, but i doubt anyone here has access to that kind of equipment

no I don't think so cause the melting points are so far away aluminum is like 2400 while steel is like 2700 or something like that they are really different
