elantras used to be compatible with dsm's, but no longer. i know most people have this inbred aversion to korean cars, but i always thought it would be awesome to build something unexpected into a super-sleeper.

i don't plan on swapping anything into my car. you'll recall i said they're no longer compatible. only older elantras were.

 

So? That doesn't mean you can't put something else in it.

 

nah, i have a 100k mile warranty and lack the time and resources to build something at this point in my life. i'm gonna keep it stock and enjoy the gas mileage on my trips between tampa and gainesville. eventually i'll sell it and buy something to play with.

 

I don't want to hear any bitching about parts availability for a Spec V. Try finding parts for an e34 BMW or a Porsche 968 (one of my best friends). Sometimes I wish to god i had an e36.
