Preference, Dig or Roll?
We can weigh our cars and compare dyno sheets, no roll race necessary. Or, we can set our cars up, actually excercise a little driving skill, and go from a dig. Yes, I'll only race from a dead stop in a 4300 pound car, now, what's everyone else's excuses?

I do both, but I prefer from a dig, although I'm fwd. To me, from a dig is the only way to race, and like Triple G said, it eliminates all arguing about what speed and when to take off and everything. Skip the bullshit and do it from a stop.

The launch is the best part. roll racing kills a lot of the fun and skill factor, for me anyways.
Especially with my specV, which is very strong in a "stoplight" type of race (quick runs from a dig. Highway rolls definately aren't its strong suit)

Dig. My car tops out at 120mph with current gearing, so any of those premeditated roll racing deals just don't work for me. With agressive gearing, a surprise roll race usually happens pretty well in my favor though
1st and 2nd gear are the strong points in my car, so racing from a dig is where I'm at.
