how much have you dumped into your ride?

im closing in on 2500 so far,but the real fun begins this year

 

the del sol - lil over 20k including car price ($7400) in 4 years

mr2 - $500 including car cost

festiva - $700 including car cost

 

over 10 k , but that was for new motor and tranny (without car cost)

 

I guess about 2500-3000.

 

Nothing yet. I'm going to drop some money into it over the summer, but it won't be very much.

thats for everything though, i save a receipt for everything i buy. so that includes my paint job, some tires, performance upgrades, all parts i've purchased for maintaining the vehicle, sunroof glass when it flew off, some misc stuff, ect.....so i guess thats not too bad is it!?

holy hell i must be stupid or something

im 20 and have been hookin up my rides since i was 15

ive had 3 cars in that time

total of all 3 combined is over $22000 not including car costs

but the funny part is im one broke ass mo-fo

 

yup! the glass came unsealed from the frame it sits in. it flew off going 90mph on I-75 one day. luckily i was in the left lane so it didn't hit anyone and ended up in the grass. i ended up buying the whole inner roof assembly off of another integra from Gagels and just used the glass out of it. the guy at Gagels said it happens frequently and that they have trouble keep the glass in stock.
