Hey everyone... I drive a 97' Acura Integra GS-R... I just got it and its all stock... I dont know what to do with it to make it faster.. Dont know to much about the car.. Any suggestions or tips let me know....

 

Dont really have a budget....

 

They arent that expensive... $230 plus S&H..... What about and APEX Exhaust system....?

get it on Honda-tech or tamparacing...Learn about the car b4 doing anything to it....please

 

get some suspension goodies and a short shifter....along with an exhaust. then turbo it

 

Get a aem cold air intake, header, exhaust maybe some tru power pulleys and a 75shot with a zex kit and go have fun.

 

If this is too expensive for you, then maybe think about a different hobby. Getting more than 10% or so more power out of the car can easilly run you $1K - $Infinite.

 

you aren't going to make your teg really fast by just bolt ons. if you want to be fast, you're gonna have to go forced induction, or some hardcore n/a engine work. if you want to be somewhat faster and have the money, i'd recommend intake, header, high flow cat, catback exhaust, and ITR headwork (cams, pistons, ect). however, may i suggest you do [quality] suspension work first. im more satisfied with my suspension mods than the bolt ons i have.

please read about your car first though. if you are unable to do all of these things yourself (read: NOT pay someone to do it), then you shouldnt do it.

 

go to team-integra.net and read all the articles and FAQs that you can to learn everything you possibly can before you start doing anything. you might want to also pick up a repair manual and just read it front to back. thats what i do
