Well my car is pretty much sold, but its time to start looking for another car, I am thinking of something at least to get me through the end of college and until I start a real job, I was looking at m3s because i like how they look and since their reliability is not the best the warranty was extended on them so i would have a warranty through 2007 by which time i would hopefully have a ncie job and sell it and see what i want then. I was also looking at 01 z06s, I know that the 02s have more power but I rather find an 01 cause they go for cheaper so thats less money I have to spend. Any other ideas? I was also debating on getting another supra...

 

M3's are nice.

I'd go with the '01 Z06 though.

they both look great and are very fast... I think this might come down to personal taste or an out of the blue good price on one of them.

 

Have you ever been in a z06? I am 6'0 and have plenty of room and the trunk will hold alot of stuff. They are very roomy on the inside for a 2 seater. I say go with the z06.

z06 will smoke an m3 hands down, my friend has a 02 m3. it feels so torqueless.

Although I have much love for M3's of that gen, it is a virtual electrical-mechanical nightmare waiting to happen. look up consumer's reports on that and read on maintenance both routine and surprise.

 

M3's are fun until they run out of warranty. the same friend has his M3 in the shop about once a month for some stupid light going off in the dash. they handle well, but the z06 is on par with it.
