Project cars

Im goner buy a new project car, but i dont know what to go for. any ideas. im lookin at price, stock engine (for a while till i can afford a swap), and mod room. any suggestions?

people will prob flame me but try an old Chevy or Ford V8. Best ammount of HP for the money.. and you will get props from both croweds..

If it's going to be a project as you say, then you will probably have it for a while I would guess? So maybe a classic, something that will appreciate in value, not only because of what you do to it, but becuase of what it is.

And I agree w/ Mike on the Ford or Chevy V8.

If your concerns are initial price to get in the vehicle, cost of mods as you continue with the vehicle, and having a decent platform to start with before dropping a wad of cash into it down the road I'd say a 5L fox body.

the man's right, get something that has a decent history of working parts(toyotas), something that has compatibility with parts from other cars(just about every honda), and also something that will stand a serious beating if you plan to turbo it(240sx, eclipse, talon).

What's your budget? (Both initial and ongoing for mods)

What's your goal with the car? (drag?, road racing?, show & shine?)
