Default Metric machine shops that can handle bike engines?

I asked in bike tech, but I didn't really get anywhere, so I figured I'd try in here. My roommate is trying to get some machine work done to his '88 Honda Magna block. It's got a 70mm bore that he'd like to take out to 70.25mm. Most places don't have tools small enough to do this. He also needs the cam runners line bored, which seems about impossible to get done. Can anybody suggest a shop?

I leave him and his Honda bikes alone for the most part. If he wants a .25mm overbore, he can have a .25mm overbore. I'll give those guys a call, thanks.

They said no on the cam runner line bore. That's where we keep getting stuck.

Yeah, they basically work like main caps on the crank of a Chevy/Ford. What his problem is that there's a big score in one of the heads and they're just overall worn out. He wants to deck/mill down the heads and caps to the holes are too small and then bore them out to perfect round again. He said line bore, I'm going on what he said. This guy is a fatalist though, so I doubt they really have to be line bored

I think my honing rig can go down to 70 mm so I will check and let you know tomorrow.

If you can measure your cam bores for and post how big they are I can tell you if we can line bore them.

Sadly, my roommate finally realized that Japanese bikes are disposable last night when looking at figures. Cost of parts + machining on the engine = >$4000. Cost of buying another 1988 Honda Magna = ~$3000-$4000. He's just going to buy another one and put his custom painted tins on it. We'll probably do a standard rebuild on that engine he has, no machining or anything, and slap it back in his bike and sell it. The engine'll run, but he was looking to ream it out, up the compression, etc...
