well isn't your fiance going to get a 4 dr bmw or an escalade? just b/c you have a family doesn't call for 2 4 dr vehicles imo. imo a wrx might as well be a 2 door, when i'm in the drivers seat, one one would sit behind me unless they're sitting indian style. when i think "family car" i think mid-full size car, not compact. something like lexus gs, most suvs, maxima, altima...

but you you gotta have a 4 dr, get an evo.

we just want to be able to take either car with the kids. We have his 2 year old neice in my teg and in his prelude, and my legs are pressed against the dash, and i have to lean forward, and getting the kids in and out of a two door, is hard. I am leaning more towards the escalade for me, which will probally be the car WE all always go in. But If he just wants to take off with the kids, then we dont have to have the hassle of a two door.

I wouldn't consider modding my family car, but to each their own I guess, I wouldn't mind having an EVO but I would just leave it how it is.

Get a minivan, you won't.

Well, I orignally wanted him to get a lexus is300 or a new 4 runner. But I know his love for cars and I cant ask him to give up modding and having a performance vehicle. I didnt like the idea of him getting WRX and modding it out because of the attention it draws from "racers, ricers" or whatever. But as long as its a safe vehicle, a 4 door. and is well behaved (lol) with our kids in it, I won't mind. But when he is not being DAD he can take it to the track and play with it. One day he will have a daily driver and a project car, of his choice. Right now he just isnt ready to give up fast cars, and his way of negotiating with me is by getting a 4 door. But like I mentioned before, ONCE we do have kids, and we all go somewhere it will most likely be in my car. I am leaning more towards the EVO for him b/c the STI interior is ugly. Even I am not ready to not have a car I can play around in, and work on.
