Default painting chrome?

well...pretty much want to know if ill run into any problems with painting chrome....i dont care about it being a black shiny chrome,it can be dull looking...i just want to know if it will stick to the chrome good and not fuck it up etc....

sand, sand, sand, prime, sand, prime, sand, wash, tach, paint, clear, sand, buff, wax.

Should be fine.

will the chrome be messed up if i were to take the paint off?

Something tells me that you should just take this to someone who knows what they're doing before you fuck it up. From what sandbag suggested, your chrome will be "messed up" before you even touch it with paint, but it's really the only way to get the paint to stick. Why the hell would you want to paint chrome in the first place?

well the rims i got for my car are chrome,and in my opinon would look nicer black with chrome lip(18" deep dish wheels)...so i was thinking about painting them,till i realzied how much trouble it would be
