U.S. Auto Import Rules & Regulations??
I am thinking about importing a car from Japan. Has anyone here ever done this? What are the U.S. rules and regulations? Will I be able to register the car at the DMV? Am I allowed to drive a car with the driver's side being on the right? Please help!

This whole 'importing' thing has been beaten to death. I have vowed not to argue it anymore, as some people here get defensive when I have to correct them.
Do a search here on TR, I have posted MANY times on this subject over the years, or even better yet,
"just forget about importing it...it ain't gonna happen"
