Yup. 5th Gear, while entertaining, is no replacement for Top Gear. And an American version of Top Gear is no substitute either. Who would think it could be so hard to simply show some god damned Top Gear footage in the States?!?! Bleh, I suppose there are always download torrents...

I think they'd have to americanize it because of their opinions..they think UK cars are the best things EVER made and generally hate US ones. Personally, as long as it truely is "Top Gear" and doesnt get ruined in the federal version, then it'd be okay

Anything is better than Car and Driver TV where they just putt the cars around and don't really drive them hard. They just put a bunch of journalists on TV that know alot about statistics but not alot about driving the rat pee out of cars.
