I haven't lost to one yet...but that's just because I haven't run across the right one yet. The only one I ever ran that was a good race was Jerry with the yellow Lancer and I went 2 and 0 against him. He's a lot faster now...but then I will be too...soon. I'm sure we'll tangle again. I plan on mixing it up with Ron and Jason both at some point too. That's gonna be down the road a bit because it's slow going building and tuning on your own when you don't really know what's going on and are just feeling your way along. :bbb: For now, I have to be content with the occasional ricer who thinks he wants a piece of the old guy driving the ugly Mustang, but there's no glory in that.

In the meantime, if you're driving a 4 banger and run up against an 8 with a similar level of mods, expect to get your ass waxed.

That all depends on the weight between the 2 cars and how far the race is.

However this thread was made up out of pure stupidity. Anything can be fast regardless of how many cyl's it has. There is always going to be somebody faster unless you pilot the space shuttle.

Not yet and I know he is fast so I was not calling him out. However I have beaten several v8's that put down much more hp/tq numbers that lose the short race. I have a 250rwhp car that is doing 12.845 in the 1/4. Thats beating a 03/04 stock cobra. Thats a stock boosted V8 vs my stock boosted 4cyl. Have 3 races like this on video. Amazing what a 1300 lb weight difference makes.

Can anyone tell me why this thread is in war stories and not in GCC?

 

His car probably out weighs yours and has similar mods, you should give it a shot before he figures out the tune. He prefers running from a stop too. I'd like to watch.

Now that's just funny. I believe his profile says he is running a low 11 sec time. Believe me if this is true his mods are far beyond mine.
