Default Which would be your quarter mile king?

Here's a no brainer, but I'm doing it more to prove a point than anything else...and I'm bored.

Which would be your platform of choice to cover the 1320 in minimal time, given the same power, weight, engine placement, etc. All things being equal, which driveline would be your pick?

I know the correct answer, but I want to hear some FWD guys...or rather, one particular FWD guy, explain to me why FWD is a better choice.

RWD, AWD is great out of the hole but a properly setup RWD can compensate

The fastest cars in the world arent exactly fastest because they are rwd. Any car can be the fastest in the world with enough money. 8 second metro anyone?

But yes, rwd is technicaly the best, why do you think the STi comes with the driver controlled center differential? More power to the rear ^_^
