I have been reading a little about these and wondered if anyone here has used one. I would like to move my filter to make oil changes a little easier and more importantly, less messy. Does it change the way the filter works if it is moved into a different position (such as threaded side up instead of down)?

 

i know lots of people wit them.. and it does the same job, its just located easer position
