RSX Type S.... I have one already out ran a Celica GTS in Orlando on John Young.... Pretty close though guy was right at my passenger window the whole race. Plus this is the last year the Celica will be made as they are focusing more on the Scion line.

RSX Type-S is a much better platform.

Yup, celica gt-s stuff is too $$$.. turbo, sc'd. Its a great car , and i like the looks better than the Type-S. but Type-S + turbo = hotness.

then again, u got reliability of toyota. If you just want a daily driver, get a GT-S. Or even get a GT and turbo it.

I'd say they are about neck and neck. You see just as many old Corollas on the road as you do Civics.

The RSX and the GTS are both great cars. Neither are very fast and both handle fairly well right out of the box. Best thing to do is test drive both and make a decision for yourself. Personally I like the interior of the RSX better, but I'm not particularly fond of what Honda did to the exterior as of the latest update.

right.. they day u can tell me u have a 1967 honda whatever.. then i'll believe that.

I have a 1967 toyota land cruiser. with all original parts, runs excellent. the only modification we've done to it was change the stock 3spd tranny for a 4spd.

Honda and toyota are both very reliable. but i believe toyota engines to last longer if properly maintained. So far i have not had problems with toyotas in my life. Could be that im biased. but to each its own. Like alan said, they're both a driver's race (in terms of speed). And they are both excellent cars. Its up to you. go test drive them. (i'd say celica, but im biased cz i had one.)
