I try not to use the gas pedal as an on/off switch but it doesn't always work.
Realistically though, the gearset in the car makes it alot more prone to seeing some sort of boost during normal driving, especially when cruising on the highway.

The electric plate itself looks like a very nice unit. The 20 dollar "flowtech" y-pipe is very poor quality, the hole cut for the Y is much smaller than it should be to match and looks like it was cut by hand. The welds aren't very good. I was going to weld it in to the first part of my stock downpipe, but I don't want to use it. I do I'll have to get out the grinder to clean it up inside. I'll probably just have a custom downpipe made with the cutout near the front facing the ground like Billy's, necking down to the stock piping size at the cat.
