I have them in my EF and the previous owner put them in who knows how long before I got the car. Definately alot better than stock, you can tell my headlights from everyone else's on the road. I love them, nothing but good things from me on the Silverstars!

Ive had these bulbs forever until i upgraded to HID, they were the best then they came out with the silver star ultra which is whitter. But yeah if you touched the bulb that could have done it.

you have to drop your bumper to change your lights? maybe you're doing way more work than you have to?
I've had my silverstars for a year now and they still work fantabulous. In fact i have four of them... H4's in my headlights and H3's in my foglights.
