How does it go? Is it the lower percentage the darker? like 35% is lighter than 5 %?

5% is darker than 35%. The percentage is the amount of light that passes through. I think the legal limit is 25% front and 15% rear. That is dark as hell.

15% = press your face to the glass, and barely see whats inside
25% = barely make out that someone is driving the car, from the other lane
35% = see people from the other lane, but wouldn't be able to indentify them.

i just got 5% on the hatch and 20% on the side windows. from the outside you can't see a thing on the hatch. from the side windows you can see pretty good what's inside

You should have seen the cops face when I registered 1% on the meter in Tarpon.

Them: "do you just want a fix it ticket? It's $6 when you take it off."

Me: "What's the alternative?"

Them: "You're not taking it off?"

front window is not tinted, that is illegal. and yes, with 5% it is a little difficult seeing out at night, especially when its raining! next time i do my z, im gonna do somehthing higher.

 

i have a strip on the windshield....it took some getting used to driving at night....but i <3 it when big high trucks are behind me (who would normally blind me) and it makes identifying police headlights behind me alot easier

i dont know if i would do it again, maybe just on the back window

in the middle of summer its a life-saver
