Methanol and Nitrous?
You plan on using some kind of EMS with a meth/nitrous setup? I would have to venture that meth/nitrous tuning probably is one of the hardest setups to tune out there on a n/a motor, none the less if you throw a turbo into the equation.
you know i've always wondered the same thing, if hypothetically, if you used nitrous lets say to spool up a turbo, and then at a given boost point, lets say 18psi, to start spraying meth, if this is feasible????

good addition carlos....not a bad idea, say, use the nitrous as a spool agent, cut the nitrous out at 18 psi, and have a hobbs switch set for the meth at like 19 or 20 psi, that way the two would never actually be being used at the same time

Depends on if you want to go with a wet setup or a dry setup on the nitrous and if you do dry if you are going to compensate the no maf by adding injector. I think the only way you could possibly do all of this and still have it any form of safe(which it still doesn't seem to be in the end, IMO) would be with a stand alone. Why not have the nitrous line have a Y in and on one side you have the nitrous and on the other you have the meth pump and when you hit a set boost level it just switchs the power from the nitrous soleniod to the meth pump. Seems it would be hard on the injectors that way though if you go from adding fuel to compensate with the nitrous and then kick reverse and pull fuel to compensate for the added octane of the meth.

its theoretical, but i think would work, if you were running a large turbo and wanted to use nitrous as a spooling agent, and cut the nitrous off once you hit a desired amount of boost, and then had the methanol set to come on at over 20 psi to keep you from blowing shit up on pump gas, i dont think it would be as complicated as its being made out to be....BTW...the theoretical nitrous system would be wet, i wouldn't see why you'd have to lean out the injectors with added octane if you are running +20 psi of boost, where you'd obviously be using alot of fuel

If you are running a big of enough turbo that you want to spool it with nitrous and then kick on meth and turn off the nitrous at a set booth and run meth and pump gas on a setup like that and do it all on hop switchs you are just being cheap and it will result in you killing your shit. IF you get it to work right eventually something will fale or go wrong and destroy everything. Just my .02 though. To me it seems like it would be a good idea but you would just be doing it half assed. I'd rather use anti-lag and meth then use nitrous and meth.
