Default mods for a stock 87 corvette

any help would be appreciated,
new to the site and am wondering on pointers on a stock 87 corvette to add performance. engine is in good condition with plenty of torque but i want more. and sadly it is an automatic. can't break the bank right now but am looking for ideas for under $500.
thanks in advance

sell it and get a ford!

just fucking around. your best option under 5 is gonna be rear end gear. best bang for the buck. intake, exaust and so forth can be had around there as well but the gear is what your going to feel the most.

welcome!

Stall and gears! Stall is the hands down best mod you can do to an auto.

:bbb: How about you go to www.howstuffworks.com and read stuff, that way when you ask questions you'll know what the answers actually mean.
