its front wheel drive, comes with a 4g61 which is a variant of the 4g63. a 4g63 directly bolts into these cars with the right mounts. the turbo i have is perfect for auto-x although its a little small for those who just like racing the 1/4 mile.

friends of mine with similar setups have gotten 120mph out of their cars with a 16g although it seems like my car is capable of 112-114.

also, in new zealand and other places these cars were called cyborg's and did have awd...although they weren't available in this country with awd. the cars overseas that were awd did not come with a turbo motor...although swapping one in is just as easy with turbo engine mounts.

its a great car though...handles better than anything i've ever driven before and is pretty quick as well.

drew, sorry to hear about your turbo...i guess that means its time for a bigger one.

Now all you need to do is throw on a FP turbo on that thing and a 1g awd drivetrain and you are set to whoop all ass chet.

Nice sleeper. Also I remember seeing you drift that thing going out to a local spot one night as I was behind you. Was hysterical and looked like some pretty good driving. Either that or the repeated cans of red bull you were slamming.

with the suspension setup as it is right now...the car tends to oversteer pretty hard which is kinda how i want it. with a differential and some shitty back tires i think this car will drift pretty evenly through a corner although its not what i'm interested in.

these cars have a solid rear axle which acts like a big rear sway bar...so it just takes shifting the car's weight and decent traction up front for the back end to kick out.
